Material Test 2 (first hand painted texture trial)

Carrying out further tests, I created a shader by hand drawing the textures and creating a material in substance designer.

Looking at several textured cubes in VR, it became apparent that the amount of detail (mainly the cracks) looked a little too noisy.

As I realised that I would have to make several adjustments to the materials, I decided to try a fully procedural workflow to have more control. 

This texture was created in Substance designer, with no hand drawn resources. Doing this allowed me to make quick adjustments following feedback from my team. I will most likely adopt this workflow for all major textures. The above texture is a work in progress
